researching a house

Postby jintray on Mon Jul 19, 2010 11:25 am

I am new to Property Bee. I read about it in MoneySaving Expert and it says there that you can find the history of houses for sale. I am interested in a house that has recently changed agents, but I can't find any history (on Rightmove) from the previous agent.

Can anyone help me find details from the previous agent ?

If you post a link to the current listing hopefully someone might be able to find the previous listing for you.

Hi if you try it tells you how long the property has been on the market and if there has been a reduction in the price.

Hope this helps :D

Postby rlph on Tue May 17, 2011 10:14 am offers a service which (among other things) lets you search old estate agent listings. It's informative, especially when you look at the asking prices in comparison with what the properties eventually sold for - but a month's subscription costs £55!

I have found that if a house has recently changed agents, then you might have some luck simply Googling the property description and seeing what comes up. Some agents are not very good a fully deleting property particulars from their sites, and I have found a few things this way whilst researching various areas. It only works if you know the property has changed agents within the last month or so though.

I agree with you Smith this situation is very common now but some people are also unaware about the fact. Its quite good that you make an effort for their wellness....
